![]() 1. Fill scoop with putty and drop on a suitable mixing surface.
![]() 2. Spread putty out flat and place an impression of the scoop bottom in the surface of the putty.
![]() 3. Using the impression as a guide, squeeze a bead of activator across the diameter of the impression. This will be just about the right amount of activator for a 6-minute set-up.
![]() 4. Use a spatula to quickly mix the two ingredients until they are mixed sufficiently to knead by hand. When the color is consistent, you are ready to impress the piece (model) to be copied.
![]() 5. Reducing the amount of activator will slow down the process if you need more time.
![]() 6. It is critically important that you impress your model while the mix is still soft. If the mix is becoming hard when you make your impression, you will lose detail. Leave your model in the putty until set.
![]() You can experiment with the mix to vary set-up time to suit your needs. The hardness of the finished mold is not affected by changes in the mix ratios.
